“I want people to know that they’re not alone. Many people face mental health struggles. I want people to connect with the work and to know: don’t give up, you have got this”
Sebastian returns with Dreamland, a four-track EP blending lush new wave and synth-pop with deeply personal storytelling. Released during Mental Health Awareness Week (12–18 May), the EP is a bold exploration of self-love, identity, and resilience.
Written and produced entirely by Sebastian, Dreamland captures the journey of overcoming doubt and embracing authenticity. From the existential haze of “Drift” to the optimistic sound of “Discord,” each track speaks to finding strength in the darkest moments. The title track ties it all together with an anthem of hope: a reminder to hold on, grow, and create your own dreamland.
Dreamland follows 2023’s Imagine, but marks a new chapter of artistic freedom and evolution. With a sound that nods to vintage synth-pop and operatics—and a style inspired by Victorian fashion and bold pinks—Sebastian is carving out a world entirely their own!
The EP is available on all platforms from Friday 16 May, with a limited-edition hot pink tape coming soon.
