The is the third edition of Robyn’s Rocket at Café OTO! This is a inclusive conscious gig not just for disabled people, but for everyone to feel welcome regardless of gender, sexuality, race, language spoken or disability. Everyone is welcome at Robyn’s Rocket. Expect a night of diverse music, and psychedelic, multi-surface projected live drawings from Rucksack Cinema and Heart n Soul artist Ariel.

The Hairdressers
Robyn (trumpet) and Kathy Hulme ( cello), the duo performed at sold out gigs at counterflows festival in Glasgow as well as support the Bitchin Bajas at Cafe OTO, they have produced a EP, curl up and dye. They offer a textured exploration of amogst other things hair styles and solid groves with skronky trumpet and cello mixed in.
Jamaica
Jamaica is a band of varying noise musicians featuring a range of instruments including percussio. Recently they supported Sly and the Family Drone. They sound like Harrry Partch and the Art Ensemble of Chicago.
Bassheads
Bassheads are Ned Smith (percussion, loops and iPad), Dean Rodney Jr (voice), Mark Williams (bass) and Robyn Steward (trumpet + fx), who perform improvised loops and sonic experimentation with a strong influence of funk and salsa. This will be their debut performance.
Steve Pretty
Steve is probably best known for his band the Hackney Colliery Band who have played at KOKO, Scala and Glastonbury. He has worked with comedian Robin Ince and scientist Brian Cox for their shows at the Hammersmith Apollo. Expect a cosmic array of sound .
